Burn
the Fat, Feed the MuscleReview

Obesity,
or even just a little extra body fat, places a huge strain on our health. Medical
science has a long list of chronic diseases that are caused by being overweight.
Burning fat and building muscle will keep us healthy, give us more energy, and
add more quality years to our lives. Extra fat depletes our energy, and as busy
parents, we need all the energy we can get! I don't have a lot of weight to lose,
but now that I'm in my late forties, it's becoming more difficult to keep off
the fat and build healthy muscle. I
get very tired of all the weight-loss ads touting pills, supplements, gadgets
and machines. So I was pleased to find a program that gives detailed step-by-step
instructions for losing fat and gaining muscle - a system that really works. In
Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, Tom Venuto helps to clear up the confusion
about fat-burning nutrition and exercise. Tom is a bodybuilder, but this book
is written for everyone, even if you've never worked out a day in your life. Tom
does not have a financial interest in the latest "miracle" supplement
or stomach-reducing gadget and shares honest and unbiased information about fat
loss. If you want to lose body fat and keep it off forever, without losing muscle,
without slowing down your metabolism and without starvation, drugs or gimmicks,
then this book is for you. This
program teaches a lifestyle - nutrition and workout habits you can maintain for
life. I'm impressed with the nutrition information. It teaches about real food
- no supplements or shakes are required. It is not a generic "one-size-fits-all"
program - it's individualized for your goals and your body type. And the thing
I love most about it is that Tom Venuto devotes a whole chapter to goal setting
and the power of the mind in achieving excellent results. Don't
let the bodybuilder pictures scare you away from this. I bought the book and have
read through the entire program. It's not about bodybuilding. It's solid, valuable
information for anyone wanting to lose fat. It's perfect for new moms who want
to firm up after pregnancy. Or for people like me who don't have a lot of time
to work out but need to deal with some extra body fat while strengthening our
bones and muscles. Remember, it's not just about how you look. It's about your
health and how you feel. I know it will work for me and I'm starting on it now. More
