White Lotus Chemical-Free Cotton Futon Mattress
White Lotus 100% cotton futon mattress starts with a case made of sturdy 100% cotton ticking sewn with 6" corners. Each mattress is piled high with 8 to 10 layers of U.S. grown "green" cotton, adding one layer at a time until we achieve the perfect mattress.
This mattress is 100% cotton inside and out. There is no borate powder or toxic chemicals. Nothing else is added. Since it is not fire retardant, a doctor's prescription is required before the order can be processed.
This is not an organic mattress. It is available in organic cotton.
Organic inner spring mattresses are also available.
These cotton futon mattresses have no waterproof protection. Chemical waterproof pads create toxic gases that are harmful. Protect Your Mattress from Moisture and Accidents with an organic wool puddle pad.
NOTE: These cotton futons may have a cotton odor that should dissipate with time. Most people don’t notice it or don’t mind it, but some people can be sensitive to the natural botanical smell. We highly recommend that you first order samples to be sent to your home to see if the cotton smell will be a problem for you. We provide samples free of charge. These mattresses are handcrafted to order and are not returnable for any reason except for manufacturing defects. The cotton smell is not a manufacturing defect.
