Let’s face it. We have to get more creative with our children’s school lunches. The junk foods in the fancy, colorful wrappers that come to school in many kids’ lunch boxes are way too tempting for our kids to resist. I used to pack my daughter a healthy lunch and many times it would come back uneaten. When I opened up the lunch box after school, I would find it all still sitting there, completely untouched. She was getting other kids to share their junk foods with her. I had to come up with better ideas for a healthy school lunch that would be appealing enough so she would eat it.
