This seminar introduces the materials and methods for developing a holistic pediatric practice. We will cover protocols for well-child care from birth through early childhood, and management principles for chronic and acute illness using an integrative holistic model. Holistic principles are applied to nutrition, parenting, anticipatory guidance, and immune system development. This seminar is suitable for physicians, nurses, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and other primary health care providers. Attendees will be exposed to the practical principles for providing holistic pediatric care.
Holistic care as presented in this seminar brings together the concepts of science, evidence-based practice, Chinese medicine, and homeopathic philosophy to the subjects of nutrition, vaccination, management of illness with natural treatment modalities, and children’s emotional and spiritual well-being.
