Jane
Sheppard is the owner, editor and publisher of www.HealthyChild.com and the author
of Super Healthy Kids: Strengthening Your Child's Resistance to Disease.
She is a child health advocate and parent educator with a passion to help empower
parents to make informed choices to protect the health and well-being of their
children. Jane
has been a health researcher for over 18 years, with 12 years of extensive research
and experience in raising a vibrantly healthy child naturally and holistically.
Jane has
a background in management, accounting, and marketing in both the business and
non-profit worlds. Jane is the former, founding executive director of the Holistic
Pediatric Association (HPA). As a licensed massage therapist and energy healer,
she co-founded a holistic healing center in Scottsdale, AZ in 1990. Jane
is currently a board member of the Santa Rosa Education Cooperative (SREC), a
vibrant, holistic, multi-age school community with an international inquiry-based
learning environment. She is the board representive for the SREC Preschool and
Early Childhood Center. She lives with her daughter in Northern California. Healthy
