Wool puddle pads help protect your baby mattress from fluids, accidents, dirt, dribbles and spills. Wool puddle pads are moisture-resistant, not waterproof. In most cases, your moisture pad will resist leakage, but wet moisture pads should be removed as quickly as possible to ensure maximum protection for your mattress. In an environment with a lot of wetness, the best protection is to use two layered pads or use a thick cotton pad on top of the wool pad.
