These pads have worked wonderfully on our child's mattress and ours! It breathes well so no one ends up overheating, and does all that it is meant to do. I was hesitant at first wondering how well it would work and whether or not it would make the bed too hot. I highly recommend this product.

I agree this is a great pad! I was not sure I would like the straps for the twin, but I decided to give it a try, and I think they may actually be a little easier to manage than the style that goes around the sides. Washes and drys really well.

We were on the search for a toxin-free pad to protect our sons organic mattress and this is just the thing. There is absolutely no "plastic" feel, sound or smell to this cover. It is soft and pliable. I agree with another reviewer that the elastic straps leave more to be desired. The overall coverage of the pad is also a bit small (we have the twin size and it is a little narrow on our sons twin mattress).

I bought this pad for my 3 year old's big boy bed. It's great. His sheets have gotten wet several times since we've had the pad but the pad is as dry as dry can be (and so is the mattress below). I was thrilled to find this organic option to cover his organic mattress. My only complaint is that the elastic does not hold as tight to the mattress as it could but that may be a result of our slightly thinner-than-normal mattress. I would buy this product again.

I bought this waterproof mattress pad to put over my five month old son's Naturpedic organic mattress. The quality of this mattress pad is very very good. There was no chemical smell to it, and it fits snugly on the crib mattress but not to the point where I had to fight to get it on! It is very soft, thin and comfy. A great price too!

Superior customer service and a high-quality product. No need to say more, but perhaps sharing my experience will help make a decision whether to purchase this pad...

Diaperless infant in a family (co-sleeping) bed? As a family practicing EC, this would have been a fearful match (read: nightmare AND daymare!) before we found this mattress pad. We use this surprisingly soft and comfortable pad over our organic cotton mattress, sometimes as a single layer when we play with our diaper free baby between bedchanges. We wouldn't be so successful (or fearless!) if it weren't for this mattress pad's high quality! Even full bladders are no match, and it doesn't leak through to the mattress beneath. So nice and thin that we can't tell it's under the sheets, this pad stays in place under the most active sleepers, quickly absorbs moisture, quickly dries, and cleans beautifully.

As a last, but not least, note for the One-Less-Thing-To-Worry-About category, no one has to know why you're buying this pad, not even those those who will be sleeping on it (they won't even know it's there). No more embarassing "naughty bedwetter" labels and feelings for loved ones, no more crinkly plastic layers or underpads to broadcast a midnight sheet change, no more spills dripping onto the floor, and unlike wool, no more extra layers to absorb spills (you can sleep on just the pad if you like). And aside from toilet duties, this pad is also very useful for the post-partum mother, keeping her comfortable when resting and free of mattress woes as the body naturally cleanses from pregnancy.

After several "spills" and experiencing the easy clean-up (no mattress-flipping for us), we can truly say purchasing this pad has enhanced our lives, as it provides not only moisture protection but also peace of mind. We highly recommend this indispensible, practical mattress pad, and have plans to purchase a second as our family grows.

It's very hard to find an affordable mattress pad that's organic cotton and waterproof and no harmful chemicals! This pad is thin not bulky, very soft, very well made and best of all, there was absolutely no "new" smell when I opened the bag. I bought this for my 4 year old's first big bed.
