For a non innerspring construction mattress, our R-P Natural Organic Latex Quilt-Top Mattress provides motionless comfort and independent support for varying body weights. The mattress comes standard with our one-zone all natural latex core, or can be upgraded to our 7-Zone all natural latex core containing 16.5% more thickness in latex and the ergonomically designed 7-Zone technology for enhanced shoulder and hip flexibility with correct support for the lower back. The mattress is quilted on the surface with layers of our chemical free French wool to provide an all natural fire barrier, and ventilation of body heat.

While this mattress is quite excellent on our Royal-Pedic organic box springs, it is also the mattress of choice for platform beds. Even on a firm platform surface, the inherent flexibility of the latex allows the mattress to contour to the body’s natural curves.

In addition, the R-P Natural Organic Latex Quilt-top Mattress is the one people choose most often on the Royal-Pedic Adjustable Bed when they want an organic mattress on an adjustable bed. The latex flexes with the bending of the adjustable bed base like no other mattress construction.

• The mattress features our 1-Zone all natural Talalay latex core as standard. Or can be upgraded to our 7-Zone all natural latex core, which design was based upon sleep studies at the Kirshgartenclinic in Basel, Switzerland by Swiss researcher and sleep specialist, Dr. Dietrich Scheider-Helmert. The 7-Zone design was found to provide optimal sleeping comfort and ergonomic support to all parts of the body.
• The all natural latex core is contained in our soft and breathable, 100% organic cotton covering that is quilted with layers of chemical free, untreated French wool.

 The R-P Natural Organic Box Spring with Wool Wrap comes standard with the H-2 box spring unit for firm, yet flexible support.  As an upgrade option, the Royal-Pedic Double Diamond Box Spring is available. Even our box spring contains a layer of organic staple cotton padding for added support for the underside of the mattress, as well as layering of our French wool to provide a natural fire barrier. Brass corner guards are installed on all corners, rather than the plastic ones that break off easily, and heavy duty organic cotton fabric is used on the underside of the box spring, instead of the thin synthetic sheeting that commonly droops and frays easily. There are many variations and some sites lead you to believe that you are getting the 7-zone for a certain price, but really it's the 1-zone.
