Suite Dreams 6 + 2 Natural Rubber Latex Mattress

Suite Dreams Natural Rubber/Latex mattress has a 6-inch core using your choice of medium or firm natural Dunlop latex. The top layer is 2 inches of Soft Natural Latex to allow you the optimum in comfort. The latex is surrounded with quilted layers of certified organic wool and encased in an organic cotton stretch knit fabric. This latex mattress provides pressure point relief, excellent support and is very comfortable.

Natural Rubber Provides Purity, Flexibility and Resilience

Natural rubber is an ideal choice: it is natural and biodegradable, and it is flexible, yet stable, for superior comfort. And, like the organic cotton and wool, the rubber is absorbent and resilient, contributing to excellent heat and moisture regulation.

The rubber used in this mattress is harvested by tapping the milk (sap) of the Hevea Brasiliensis (the common rubber) tree.  No herbicides are used in these processes.  The Hevea milk is processed close to the plantations  because the raw product destabilizes when kept too long.  Other manufacturers avoid this problem by adding chemicals. Our pledge to bring you the purest products possible means that the rubber milk is harvested in the morning and molded into sheets by mid-afternoon.  By having the rubber manufactured where the tree's milk is harvested, we also help to sustain the local economy.  Jobs are created without depleting the natural resources--a kindness to ourselves and the planet.

An injection system produces the purest natural product--for mattress cores that will keep their shape. Only air, natural soap, and natural vulcanization agents are used.

Renewable Pacific Northwest Hardwood Foundations

The foundations recommended for these mattresses are hand-constructed from seasoned, untreated, carefully selected natural kiln-dried pine. The wood used is obtained by the sustainable harvesting methods from local sources in Oregon and Washington. They strive to have a minimal carbon footprint by selecting local suppliers, using quality raw materials, within the shortest distance to their factory. 

The slats are strong, providing perfect support and unmatched comfort.  Foundations can be set on metal or wood bed frames.

This wood is never treated with synthetic glues, dyes, or finishing sprays at any stage of production. Your home environment is therefore protected from the toxic "off-gassing" that accompanies the use of these harsh chemicals.
