Our goal is to provide you and your family the most comfortable and healthiest sleep possible. We achieve this by the perfect marriage of organic cotton and natural untreated pure organic wool. Organic cotton and wool breathe while you sleep, naturally regulating body temperature and heart rate. The wool helps to regulate the body temperature to provide a better night's sleep. It also does not provide a favorable environment for mold, mildew, and dust mites. Wool adds more comfort to the mattress, and also adds the ability to dry quickly when damp. The human body naturally releases moisture while sleeping. Having a mattress that dries quickly is important to maintain a comfortable body temperature. This mattress allows for a deep, restful nights sleep by controlling the humidity next to the skin and providing a more even, optimum sleeping temperature.

Since wool is a natural fire retardant, this mattress does not require a doctor's precription.

The Tufted Organic Innerspring mattress employs traditional Bonnell style coils (untreated, electrically tempered steel coils) surrounded with quilted layers of organic cotton and wool that with extra tufting, achieve a truly firm mattress. The coils have not been treated with any oils or chemicals.

This mattress is not waterproof and a wool moisture pad is recommended to protect the mattress from wetness and fluids. See our waterproof children's organic mattresses.

The Organic Box Spring Foundation is designed to be used specifically with the Organic Innerspring Mattress. It offers superior support for bodyweights ranging from 160 lbs to 275 lbs. A heavy duty organic cotton cover surrounds the gridlock construction that is anchored to an untreated, pure, seasoned kiln-dried spruce frame; no synthetic glues, dyes, or finishing sprays are used in any stage of production.
