Premium Certified Organic Materials

The entire Naturepedic EOS Classic Organic Mattress is certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Additionally, all latex is certified to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).

Features GOTS certified organic wool, GOLS certified organic latex, GOTS certified USDA organic cotton, and PLA plant based fiber made from non-GMO potatoes. The Naturepedic EOS Classic Organic Mattress is completely free of all flame retardant chemicals and FR barriers. Due to its smart design and the elimination of petrochemical foams, it meets and exceeds all federal and state flammability standards naturally.

Understanding Your Naturepedic EOS Classic Organic Mattress

The EOS European-inspired design has two main component layers – the 3″ Comfort layer and the 8″ Support layer. Both layers are enclosed in a luxurious, organic quilted encasement.

8″ Encased Coil Support Layer

Encased in a durable organic cotton outer casing, the EOS coils are individually wrapped for full body-contouring comfort in a plant-based PLA fabric. This method ensures isolation of movement while promoting balanced support for proper postural alignment. Exclusive construction completely avoids the use of glues or adhesives. Provides just the right amount of bounce while adding excellent breathability and heat dissipation characteristics as compared with memory foam and even all-latex mattresses.

The support layer determines how deep you will sink into the bed and is most responsible for postural alignment and balance. For example, a mattress that is too firm for you may cause your hips to be raised and can lead to a sore back. Conversely, a mattress that is too soft may cause your hips to sink and may also lead to a sore back. The goal is perfect spinal alignment. Heavier people generally require more support, but body type and shape also play a role since they affect weight distribution.

3″ Top Comfort Layer

The comfort layer determines how the surface or top of your bed will feel and is most responsible for pressure point relief and surface comfort.

Microcoil Option (made without latex)
For those with latex sensitivities, you can build your dream organic mattress by substituting latex for microcoils. Encased in a stretch-knit organic cotton outer casing, our high-density microcoils are individually wrapped for full body-contouring comfort in a lightweight yet durable polyester fabric. They resist body impressions while providing comfortable pressure point relief. They also improve breathability and heat dissipation for a cool and comfortable sleep.

Quilted Organic Mattress Encasement

The support layer and the comfort layer are zipped inside a luxurious quilted mattress encasement.  A beautiful fabric that is comfortable, luxurious and soft, made with organic cotton from USDA certified sources. The organic cotton is quilted with organic wool batting and a non-GMO PLA comfort layer, with an organic cotton backing. The mattress encasing is equipped with a heavy-duty brass zipper designed to last.

Tested for Chemical Emissions

Unlike memory foam and most latex mattresses, the EOS helps you avoid harmful chemicals and unnecessary additives so you can “breathe easy.” Improve your indoor air quality and reduce your chemical exposure by eliminating these chemicals in the first place. The EOS has been thoroughly tested for chemical emissions and is certified to the most stringent GREENGUARD® standards. This helps provide a cleaner, more chemical-free sleep environment.

Easy Assembly

The Naturepedic EOS Classic Organic Mattress is shipped in multiple boxes for convenience and maneuverability. It is equipped with a heavy-duty brass zipper that makes assembly and layer swaps a snap. Setup typically takes 15 minutes or less with two people and will familiarize you with the layers should you ever want to layer swap.
